CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Two people who were involved in a Detroit to Morgantown drug trafficking operation will serve more than 10 years in prison.
Giovanni George, 34 of Taylor, Michigan, was sentenced to 141 months in federal prison, and Addonis Moore, 29 of Detroit, Michigan, was sentenced to 121 months, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia.
George and Moore were among 11 people indicted by by federal officials in 2022 for their role in a drug ring that distributed large quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine to the Morgantown area between October 2020 and February 2022.

Both men previous pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
After their prison sentences, Moore will serve five years of supervised release and George will serve three.
