FAIRFIELD (WGME) – Four people were arrested on drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop in Fairfield on Saturday night.
Maine State Police say that around 11:58 p.m., a trooper pulled over a vehicle on Route 201 in Fairfieldfor inoperable taillights.
The trooper recognized the driver,Daniel Pallis, 35, of Dresden and a passenger,Maria Jackson, 30, of Richmond, from a fight they had with a Maine State trooper back on August 10th, as the trooper was trying to arrest Jackson as part of a drug investigation.
Pallis was arrested for a charge of drug trafficking and two counts of violating conditions of release. Jackson was also charged with drug trafficking, violating conditions of release and charged with refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
Two other passengers in the car were also arrested:Paul Duplin, 35, of Whitefield andDavid Levasseur, 38, of Lisbon.
Both Duplin and Levasseur were charged with drug trafficking, with Levasseur also facing a charge of trafficking prison contraband.
