Some train services have been disrupted and cancelled due to heavy rain overnight.
Due to flooding in the Dauntsey area, the railway line between Swindon and Chippenham is currently blocked, with services cancelled or severely delayed.
Great Western Railway (GWR) said flooding was also affecting alternative routes which would normally be used to divert services.
Train services between Taunton and Westbury are also affected.
GWR said a limited train service would run in both directions between Swindon and Bristol Temple Meads via Chippenham and Bath Spa.
‘Sorry for the delay’
Services between Taunton and Westbury are also affected, due to flooding in the Somerton area between Taunton and Castle Cary.
The line between Swindon and Bristol Parkway is also blocked, affecting services between London Paddington and Cardiff Central.
As a consequence, a limited train service will be running in both directions between London Paddington and South Wales.
Due to flooding between Pewsey and Westbury, train services between Reading and Taunton via Westbury may also be delayed or diverted.
GWR said: “We’re sorry for the delay to your journey.”
All disruption is expected until 15:00 GMT.
