DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — Authorities in Daviess County say they’ve charged a woman with fentanyl trafficking.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Tiana L. Garrard of Owensboro was arrested Thursday.
According to DCSO, multiple agencies served a search warrant at Garrard’s home on West 10th Street after months of investigating, which included undercover buys of fentanyl from Garrard by detectives.
During the search, authorities say they found fentanyl pills, digital scales, oxycodone pills, marijuana, and cash.
According to DCSO, some of the evidence, including fentanyl pills, was found within reach of an infant child at the home.
Garrard was taken to the Daviess County Jail and booked on charges including fentanyl trafficking and wanton endangerment.
