LINN COUNTY, Ore. – A Linn County traffic stop on Interstate 5 led to a suspect’s arrest and the seizure of 40 pounds of crystal methamphetamine on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Oregon State Police.
OSP officials said that a trooper stopped a vehicle on Interstate 5 in Linn County for a traffic violation at about 5 p.m. on October 8. The trooper observed signs of possible drug trafficking during the stop and deployed a drug-detection K-9 which led to the discovery of 40 pounds of crystal meth in the vehicle’s trunk, state police officials said.
OSP officials said the driver of the vehicle, identified as Sheyla Jesmely Serrano Lopez, 27, of Shafter, California, was arrested and transported to the Linn County Jail.
