Two people have been arrested as part of a narcotics raid on Tuesday night in Elko, according to a recent report from Elko Police.
Elko SWAT had executed a search warrant on Monday, October 7 – the search warrant executed Tuesday for drug trafficking is said to be related.
Officials from the Elko Combined Narcotics Unit (ECNU) and local Elko police raided a home on Cedar Street on Tuesday night.
When officers searched the home, they found methamphetamine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, hypodermic syringes and a stolen handgun.
40-year old Airon Heisler of Elko was booked into the Elko County Jail and charged with maintaining a place for the use of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substances act, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a stolen firearm.
His bail was listed at $480,000.
37-year old Jocelyn Jimenez, also of Elko, was booked into the Elko County Jail and charged with maintaining a place for the use of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substances act, possession of a stolen firearm, and the se of a controlled substance in the presence of a child.
Her bail was listed at $270,000.
This investigation is still ongoing.
