LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo – A Lexington man has been arrested following a traffic stop in Lafayette County.
According to a probable cause statement, a deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a car driving erratically in the Odessa area on Monday night. The driver, 69-year-old Delbert Love Cole of Lexington admitted to having past issues with narcotics and being on probation.
Cole agreed to allow the deputy to search his vehicle. The search revealed a large plastic bag containing a total of 22 small baggies of methamphetamine. Cole was arrested on a charge of first-degree drug trafficking. No court date is currently scheduled.
