SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah (KUTV) — A man was arrested with more than 80 pounds of marijuana, six bags of psilocybin mushrooms, 4,000 MDMA pills, 200 THC cartridges, dozens of packages of edibles, and multiple pre-rolled joints after an officer pulled him over for going 10 mph over the speed limit.
Duane Joseph Lee, 50, was driving at 76 mph in a 65 mph zone near milepost 148 on I-80 when a deputy with the Summit County Sheriff’s Office pulled him over, an affidavit states.
The deputy said he made contact with Lee and “noticed the odor of raw marijuana” coming from his vehicle.
Lee told the deputy he did not have a valid medical marijuana card, and after a search of his vehicle yielded a duffle bag of “bulk marijuana,” he was placed under arrest.

A State Bureau of Investigations agent interviewed Lee and took possession of the evidence.
