BANGOR (WGME) — A Massachusetts man is facing multiple charges after police say they found a substantial amount of suspected meth during a traffic stop in Bangor.
Police say they stopped a truck in a business parking area on Main Street around 2 a.m. on Saturday after noticing the registration had expired in May 2024 despite the stickers on the plate showing the expiration was in November 2024. It was later determined to be a fake sticker.
According to police, the driver, 23-year-old Damian Quinones of Worcester, Massachusetts, didn’t have a license.
Police say they searched the vehicle and found a substantial amount of suspected methamphetamine.
Quinones was arrested and is facing several charges, including aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
