Louisville Metro Police arrested a felon during a trafficking investigation, and seized several guns and narcotics.Na’aman Coleman, 42, was detained by police after a traffic stop. LMPD says they questioned him and were able to establish probable cause for a search warrant at his home in the 1300 block of Dixie Highway. Police said their Second Division IMPACT Unit found:Three pounds of methamphetamineMore than two pounds of marijuanaMore than three ounces of suspected powder cocaineMore than 20 dosage units of alprazolamMiscellaneous drug paraphernalia A large stack of U.S. currency They also found 11 guns, including two AR-15-style pistols, a TEC-9 and a stolen Kimber 1911-style handgun.Coleman is facing numerous drug and weapons charges. They include two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, using restricted ammunition, receiving stolen property and trafficking controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school.The last charge is because Coleman’s home was found to be less than 1,000 feet from a child development center on St. Louis Avenue.They said Coleman was “an extreme danger to the community and significantly reduced the quality of life of the citizens living around him because of constant drug related traffic to and from this residence.”He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $50,000 bond.
