Authorities arrested two men wanted in connection with a multi-agency drug investigation in Limestone County.
On Nov. 7, the Limestone County Narcotics Unit along with the Limestone County SWAT, Madison County Narcotics Unity, Madison County Street Crimes Unit, Madison County SWAT, and Athens Police Department HEAT conducted several search warrants across Athens. During the searches, agents found more than 24 pounds of marijuana, a distribution amount of meth, cocaine, pills, and 10 illegally possessed firearms.
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said that on Nov. 8 they were searching for Jarvis Deshaun Cain, 45, and Terrias Donta Cain (Scooter), 40, both of Athens, in connection with the investigation.
On Saturday, both Jarvis Cain and Terrias Cain were taken into custody.
Jarvis Cain faces charges of drug trafficking marijuana, possession of a pistol by a violent felon, and illegal possession of a controlled substance.
Terrias Cain faces charges of drug trafficking (cocaine), two counts of possession of a pistol by violent felon, illegal possession of marijuana, illegal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), and illegal possession with intent to distribute meth.
