Maritech, a cloud-based software supplier, said it plans to expand its operations into Europe and Asia to support the seafood industry globally.
Building on its success in Norway, Iceland, and North America, Maritech aims to address the growing demand for digital solutions that enhance the seafood sector’s efficiency, flexibility, and profitability, the firm said in a press release.
The newly appointed general manager for Europe and Asia, Klas Vangen, highlighted the company’s recent growth and the seafood sector’s focus on digitalization.
Vangen said that there was a strong “interest across the global seafood sector in digitalizing and professionalizing daily operations.” “That makes this the perfect time to expand into new markets,” he said.
The company, by CAI earlier this year, has bolstered its resources and network, paving the way for this global push.
Maritech has been a trusted provider of seafood ERP solutions for nearly five decades and has recently expanded into cloud-based transportation management systems (TMS), further diversifying its portfolio, according to the firm.
