An explosion at a house has left one person badly injured and surrounding residents evacuated from the area.
It happened just before 11:00 GMT on Nelson Street in Bury, Greater Manchester.
The injured person has been taken to hospital and the road has been cordoned off by police.
An eyewitness said the property had been badly damaged in the explosion, with clouds of smoke filling the air around nearby streets.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed 10 police vehicles were at the scene, with officers going door-to-door encouraging residents to leave.
