A huge fire has broken out at a takeaway prompting a major incident to be declared.
Dozens of crews are tackling the blaze, which spread to flats above Mango’s takeaway in Keighley, West Yorkshire, after it started at about 09:20 BST.
Initially a number of people were unaccounted for but the fire service said that was no longer the case and confirmed there were no casualties.
The area has been cordoned off and people are being urged to stay away.
The fire is understood to have started in a cooker at the takeaway and then spread to the extractor fan flue, a fire service spokeswoman said.
The fire service said there were 15 appliances at the scene including two aerial platforms.
The spokeswoman said a major incident was declared because of the large emergency service response.
She added that a baby at the scene had been treated by paramedics as a precaution. It is not known whether the infant had been inside any of the affected premises.
Police have closed off the area at the junction of Alice Street and Mornington Street and motorists are being urged to avoid it.
