A Kittanning man will serve up to 50 years in state prison for charges of third-degree murder.
According to state Attorney General Michelle Henry, 41-year-old Nathan Wolfe was convicted in July of providing 43-year-old Eric McMillen with crack cocaine laced with fentanyl that ended up killing him in 2020. The drugs were given so Wolfe could use McMillen’s car. On top of the aforementioned charge, he was also found guilty of drug delivery resulting in death, aggravated assault, involuntary manslaughter and other crimes.
Wolfe also distributed the drugs to others on that day, resulting in at least two other non-fatal overdoses.
Henry said in a statement that Wolfe “showed a complete disregard for human life when he provided those drugs – which he knew contained fentanyl – to the victim,” and said that the case is a prime example of how drug trafficking can affect an entire community.
