A Las Vegas woman is facing drug charges after a traffic stop on I-88 in DeKalb County Sunday afternoon.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says deputies pulled over 42-year-old Tess N. Thomison east of the county line for alleged traffic violations. Police allege that Thomison used a fake name and has a revoked driver’s license.
The sheriff’s office also alleges that deputies found about 19 pounds of a controlled substance in separate bags in the vehicle.
Thomison is charged with controlled substance trafficking, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and additional charges. She was taken to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore pending a detention hearing.
