LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 42-year-old man was arrested and is facing numerous drug trafficking charges after Louisville Metro Police raided his home near a child care center on Dixie Highway.
LMPD said in a social media post that a narcotics and firearms investigation led them to the 1300 block of Dixie Highway after a man had become a “nuisance to the residents.” Police said the man had presented himself as “an extreme danger to the community” and reduced the quality of life for the citizens living around him because of drug trafficking.
LMPD conducted a traffic stop Oct. 12 for Na’Aman Coleman, a convicted felon, after he was seen speeding on Interstate 264. This led to a search warrant being conducted at his home Oct. 22
According to court documents, police found 3 pounds of meth, more than 2 pounds of marijuana, more than 3 ounces of suspected cocaine, more than 20 dosage units of alprazolam, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia and a large stacks of cash.
Police collected 11 firearms including two AR-15 style pistols, a Tec-9 and a stolen Kimber 1911 style handgun.
