Audrain County Judge Jason Lamb sentenced a Mexico man to 30 years in prison Thursday for charges including drug trafficking, unlawful use of a weapon and drug possession.
A jury found Larry Dale Karhoff, 53, guilty in August.
A trooper with the Missouri State Highway Patrol stopped Karhoff in February 2022 for having a revoked license, according to a news release from the Audrain County Prosecutor’s Office. The trooper reported finding methamphetamine, fentanyl and prescription drugs, as well as a handgun. Karhoff, who had previously been convicted of a felony, is not allowed to possess a gun.
Karhoff has two other drug-related cases currently pending in Audrain County.
