The Prince of Wales joined a volleyball game on Thursday on one of the UK’s most popular beaches in Newquay, Cornwall.
The Prince of Wales was visiting Fistral Beach to meet the Holywell Bay and Newquay Surf lifesaving clubs, as well as members of the RNLI who patrol the beach.
Warm spring weather attracted large crowds, and the prince met several members of the public.
One of them said “God save the King, and best wishes to Kate” – both of whom are undergoing cancer treatment.
